WHAT YOU WILL DO
Product Ownership:
Define and own the roadmap for key features or game areas, ensuring alignment with product goals.
Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog to prioritize the highest-impact features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure features are implemented on time and at a high quality.
Game Development & Strategy:
Work closely with the Product Lead to shape the overall game vision and strategy.
Contribute to designing innovative gameplay loops, hybrid monetization systems, and engagement mechanics.
Act as a mentor to Junior Product Owners and other team members, providing guidance and support.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Use analytics and player feedback to inform decisions and optimize features for retention, engagement, and monetization.
Collaborate with the analytics team to design and evaluate A/B tests for new features and updates.
Identify key metrics and set success criteria for features and updates.
LiveOps & Player Engagement:
Help plan and execute LiveOps strategies, including events, seasonal updates, and new content releases.
Partner with marketing teams to align player acquisition and retention initiatives with product goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a related role in the gaming industry.
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of hybrid-casual games and their unique gameplay and monetization mechanics.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document and track progress effectively.
Language: Professional fluency in English across all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Mindset: Passion for gaming and a player-focused mindset.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA or Trello.
Experience working on hybrid-casual or mobile games.
Exposure to game analytics and performance metrics like retention and ARPU.
